Simone Biles Shows Off Her Gymnastics Skills in a Bikini While Playing Game of ‘Stick It’ on Custom Trampoline at Her Texas Home

by Charlie Lankston

Simone Biles may well have taken a step back from elite gymnastics in the wake of the 2024 Olympics—but she proved this week that she still has plenty to offer the sport when she put her skills to the test during a fun-filled game of "stick it" in the backyard of her lakefront Texas home.

Biles, 29, shared a video of herself and her fellow gymnast, LSU Tigers star Zoe Miller, 20, going head-to-head in a flipping contest on the custom in-ground trampoline at the Spring, TX, property she shares with her husband, Jonathan Owens.

The clip showed the two women taking turns performing different aerial moves—from back fulls to front pikes—and trying to land the skills without moving their feet.

Though drastically different to their normal training locations, Biles and Owens' custom lakefront mansion provided a beautiful backdrop for the "summer night" session, with the sun seen setting behind the water as the duo completed their competition.

Three-time Olympian Biles, who was sporting a red bikini and a matching sarong, managed to pull off a stuck landing on many of the moves, proving that, while she may no longer be in fulltime training, she has more than maintained the skills needed to fight for a spot on Team USA's 2028 Olympic squad.

The video earned plenty of attention from several high-profile names in the gymnastics world, including Biles' former teammate, Aly Raisman, who commented: "I wanna play! Could watch this all day! So fun."

Canadian national team member Ellie Black also chimed in, writing: "Sticking on a trampoline ain't easy people."

Even the official Olympics account commented on the clip, writing: "Can we join next time?"

Interestingly, the video was shared just a few days after the seven-time Olympic gold medalist admitted that she has yet to make up her mind about whether or not she will try and compete in the upcoming Games in Los Angeles, explaining during an interview with Spanish outlet El Pais that she is "at about 50%" in her decision making process.

"I’d say we’re still at about 50 per cent. Although I’ll also take this opportunity to say one thing: I feel we should know how to admire athletes while they are active and competing," Biles said.

"I’ve already been to three Olympic Games, and I feel fulfilled. It’s crazy to see how people always want more and more from you. In the end, the decision will always be mine."

The athlete confirmed that she has not taken part in any elite-level gymnastics training since the 2024 Paris Games, where she won three gold medals, noting that she has switched her focus to other activities, like yoga and pilates—a workout that she does alongside her NFL player husband.

"I think it’s just so I can say I’m doing a little movement, because I actually hate exercise. I feel that after doing it for so long, I deserve a break. And I’m giving myself that privilege," she said.

"That said, my husband takes me to Pilates, and honestly it’s not fun at all. It’s very hard, pure pain and effort. But he loves it. And I do it because I love sharing it with him."

In addition to her new workout regimen, many other things have changed in Biles' life since she last competed at an elite level—not least her living situation.

The gymnast spent much of 2025 shuttling back and forth between her home in Texas—which was undergoing construction throughout a bulk of the year—and a rented property in Illinois, where her husband was living while playing for the Chicago Bears.

However, the duo officially relocated from their Windy City abode in February of this year, following the end of the 2025 NFL season, when Owens' contract with the Bears came to an end, allowing them an opportunity to finally move into their custom mansion in Spring, which was competed in November.

It was later revealed that they will have just a few short months of time to settle into their new dwelling—after Owens signed a new contract with the Indianapolis Colts, will require him to relocate yet again before the start of the next season.

Still, Biles is soaking up as much time as possible inside her dwelling, revealing in several different Instagram posts how the couple has been personalizing their opulent abode.

In March, while posting a video of her remote-control drapes opening up one morning, the athlete noted that she had asked her interior designer, Diamond Hadley, to create the ambiance that one might find at a top-rated hotel.

"When we designed this bedroom, I told them I wanted it to feel like a hotel and it feels exactly like that," Biles captioned the quick clip, which showed the curtains opening up to the couple's beautiful outdoor patio overlooking their pool.

Set on the edge of the human-made lake, the pool looks out over the water and comes complete with a sizable spa, as well as several areas for entertaining or relaxing.

Biles also took a moment to showcase a flashy new accessory that she and Owens had delivered to their property: a brand-new golf cart that they will likely use to tool around the local community.

Sharing a photo of the vehicle perched on a truck bed, the sporting superstar wrote: "Special delivery this morning."

As for the more personal touches in their dwelling, Biles has begun adding nods to her impressive career inside her private office, which she revealed is now home to several framed accolades, including her Sports Illustrated cover from January 2025, when she was named as the magazine's Sportsperson of the Year 2024.

Above that sits another Sports Illustrated cover, this time featuring Biles posing alongside her fellow Olympians Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky. They were hailed as "The Greatests: Stars of a Red Hot American Summer" after their stellar performances at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.

A poster from the Gold Over America Tour—a program that Biles began in September 2021, following that year's Olympics in Tokyo—completes the trio of framed achievements.

The sporting superstar has also been spending plenty of time outside, soaking up the sun in the stunning lakeside pool or relaxing with her beloved dogs on one of the many loungers that surround the water.

For times when the Texas heat gets to be too much, the athlete and her pups can retreat to the covered patio, which features a sizable dining area and an outdoor kitchen.

But the dogs also have their own custom room in the property, Biles previously revealed, a space that has been decked out in the same black-and-white tile used in their pool design, with built-in food and water bowls, and a private pet spa.
