EXCLUSIVE: Tamera Mowry Lists California Home for $2.7 Million—as They Build ‘Dream’ Dwelling in Napa Valley
"Sister, Sister" star Tamera Mowry-Housley has brought her longtime California dwelling to the market for $2.7 million—months after revealing that she and her husband were in the process of building their "dream" family abode in Napa Valley.
Mowry, 47, and her spouse, Adam Housley, 54, announced in April that they had embarked on a very extensive renovation of a dilapidated property in wine country. Records show they purchased it for $3.8 million in October 2024.
At the time, the actress, who shot to fame while starring in the hit Nickelodeon series alongside her twin sister, Tia Mowry, admitted that the renovation represented a new chapter in her family's life. She joked that she was both excited and terrified to move to the country.
"I'm so excited but also a little nervous and anxious because I'm a city girl," shared Mowry-Housley, who launched a renovation series on her YouTube account.
Weeks after announcing their exciting news, the couple took the next step in their journey by putting their family's Fairfield, CA, home on the market—15 years after buying the 4,863-square-foot home for $1.4 million.

The California home, which was built in 2005, sits north of San Francisco on a 0.54-acre lot. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Unlike their Napa Valley dwelling, which had been left vacant since 2018, the couple's former home offers incredible design details, as well as an alluring proximity to wine country.
"What makes this home so special is the setting," real estate agent Ryan Nemeyer of The Nemeyer Garcia Team at Engel & Völkers, who is co-listing the dwelling with Alfonso Garcia, tells Realtor.com®.
"It’s rare to find a property that offers this level of privacy, views, proximity, parking, and usable outdoor space all in one package. That’s a combination luxury buyers are constantly searching for in hillside wine country estate homes."
The listing agent notes that the property is particularly well-suited to those who work in high-pressure environments—and seek a sanctuary to return to at the end of the day.
"The home offers a rare balance," he shares. "It feels secluded and peaceful, yet it’s still convenient enough for those commuting to major employment centers or working in hybrid executive roles. We continue to see professionals gravitate toward properties that support both productivity and wellness, and this home does that exceptionally well."
Listing images shed further light on the home's idyllic setting, revealing the beautiful mountain views, tree-lined parcel, and leafy neighborhood. Meanwhile, the description calls attention to the elegant upgrades that Mowry-Housley and Housley have made over the years.
"Set against a backdrop of rolling hills, this thoughtfully upgraded residence delivers a lifestyle defined by comfort, connection, and effortless indoor-outdoor flow," the listing notes.
Upon arriving at the property, guests are greeted with lush landscaping and mature trees, which line the home's facade.
Inside, the open floor plan includes a cozy living area with a chic fireplace and soaring ceilings.
"The home's layout is designed for the way people live today," the listing notes.
Adjacent to the lounging space is a large dining room with an elegant chandelier.

The crown jewel of the property is surely the chef's kitchen, described in the listing as "the heart of the home."
"Outfitted with a Monogram professional gas range with dual ovens and griddle, built-in Monogram refrigeration, double Bosch dishwashers, and custom cabinetry, the space is elevated by fireclay farmhouse sinks and a custom wood-wrapped hood," it reveals.
"A large island with eat-in peninsula, built-in desk/coffee bar, and wood beam ceiling detail create both function and warmth, making it a true gathering place."
The primary bedroom features enough space for a king-sized bed, and French doors here open to a balcony. The primary bathroom boasts a glass-enclosed shower, a large soaking tub, and a double vanity.
Moving outside, there is a resort-style pool and sweeping views of the mountains.

"Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Salt water pool, gardens, and views. Designed as an extension of the home, the grounds invite both relaxation and entertaining. From morning coffee to evening gatherings, the setting captures the essence of wine country living with privacy and tranquility at its core," the listing reads.
Nemeyer says one of the things he was most impressed with was the feeling of the home, which he says instantly appeals to anyone who sets foot through the front door.
“It’s hard to explain, but the home has a warmth and energy that people immediately connect with," he shares.

The warm, cozy feeling of the home is in sharp contrast to the vacant, bare property that Mowry-Housley and Housley set their sights on as their next major project. They revealed in the first episode of their YouTube series, "The Housley Farm: Building Our Dream Home," that it was like nothing they had seen before.
"It looks like someone took the 'Golden Girls' house, combined it with Pablo Escobar's house, and airlifted it and set it down on a hilltop in Napa," they joked, noting that they were planning to change "everything" about the dwelling as part of the renovation.
Still, the duo had full faith that the bones of the dwelling would allow them to create their perfect countryside retreat. They added that they had spent "years" looking for the ideal place to lay down roots outside of the city.
On paper, the property pales in comparison with their previous dwelling, offering just 2,718 square feet of living space, including three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
However, that out-of-date abode is located on a stunning parcel of land that covers more than 16 acres, including 4-plus acres of "income-producing Cabernet Sauvignon," according to its previous listing.
It was the land that really lured the couple in, Housley explained, noting that they had been seeking the right opportunity to give their family a chance to live in a more natural setting.

"We've been dreaming about this for a long time," he said. "Getting out of the city, getting into the country, teaching the kids and all of us how to be more sustainable to the land, having chickens and an orchard and vineyard.
"What sold us on the property was obviously not the house, but the setting. The house is going to be our design, obviously, as a family, what makes sense for us. There's a peacefulness here."
In the YouTube series, the couple gave fans a tour of the property, revealing that it had been vacant since 2018.
Though the one-story home is in serious need of an update, it comes with plenty of natural light.
Housley noted that the home's natural pond sold them, adding that they hope to stock it with fish.
Meanwhile, Mowry-Housley is looking ahead to their future in the home.
"What I love about the property is that it looks gorgeous and picturesque at every season," she said.
The couple met in the early 2000s at Pepperdine University. They said "I do" in 2011 after six years of dating.
The share son Aden, 13, and daughter Ariah, 10.
