EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Puth Sells ‘One-of-a-Kind’ Studio City Mansion for $2.1 Million—Weeks After Welcoming His First Child
Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth has offloaded an ultramodern "sculptural" residence in Studio City for $2.1 million—less than a year after putting the architectural marvel on the market.
The property, which is located "high above Studio City's coveted Silver Triangle," was designed by renowned architect Jon Brouse and was described in its listing, which was held by Kristofer Everett-Einarsson of Carolwood Estates, as being "an inspired fusion of sculptural form, volume, and light."
"Sculptural, light-filled, and profoundly livable, this architectural gem stands as a testament to Brouse's signature vision a residence that celebrates artistry, space, and the boundless beauty of the hills that surround it," it crowed.
Property records show that the five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence was purchased for $1.5 million in 2021 via family trust named for his father, Charles Puth Sr., and his mother, Debra Puth, and it's thought that they were the primary residents of the space, although it does boast a music studio where Puth was able to practice.
And while the sale resulted in a significant profit on the original purchase price, the property did not manage to achieve its very lofty initial asking price of $2.9 million.
But the sale of the home comes at a very exciting time for the family, closing just a few weeks after Puth, 34, welcomed his first child with his wife, Brooke Sansone, a baby boy named Jude Crawford Puth.
Puth is also in the midst of a major world tour, which began in California in April and will next see him performing at New York City's Madison Square Garden. From there, he will return to his home state of New Jersey, before completing a host of other concert dates—including stops in Portugal, Spain, and the U.K.

The "We Don't Talk Anymore" singer, who was raised in Rumson, NJ, where his father worked as a builder and real estate agent, while his mother had a career as a music teacher and HBO commercial writer, will then return home to his own Golden State abode.
Puth and his family hold the keys to several California properties, including a sprawling Montecito estate, where he and his wife wed in September 2024.
It's unclear whether the couple has now taken up residence in the Santa Barbara dwelling in the wake of selling the Studio City manse—which spans 2,400 square feet and comes complete with a "separate 450-square-foot bonus space," according to the listing.
The jaw-dropping property is located on a hilltop overlooking L.A. and was "masterfully oriented to command panoramic sunrise-to-sunset city views."
Thanks to the home's impressive glass walls, those vistas effectively serve as living works of art, creating an ever-evolving backdrop that is further emphasized by soaring 18-foot ceilings, ensuring that the views can be enjoyed from almost every area of the main level.
One of the prime viewing spots, however, is the two-story great room, which was inspired by professional gallery spaces and was conceived as the perfect place to display art—while creating a dramatic first impression of the home.
"The chef-inspired designer kitchen seamlessly blends functionality and style with quartz countertops, high-end appliances, and center-island seating, opening effortlessly to the dining area and corner window views that frame the horizon," the listing continued.
Of the five bedrooms found in the property, two are located on the main level, while upstairs, two sizable suites can be accessed by "a suspended walkway" that makes each space feel like it occupies its own private wing.

Each of those two suites was positioned especially to "capture the home's most breathtaking vantages—from morning light to glittering nighttime vistas," per the listing—however, it is the primary suite that serves as the true jewel in the crown.
"The primary suite is a sanctuary unto itself, featuring a massive private balcony, a custom-fitted walk-in closet, and a spa-like bath with dual vanities and walls of glass that invite the outdoors in," the listing went on.
Elsewhere on the 0.43-acre parcel, there is an additional structure spanning 450 square feet, which boasts its own private deck and which has most recently been used as Puth's music studio—although the listing noted that it could easily be turned into another guest bedroom or art space.
The Studio City property is the third Los Angeles residence that Puth has bought and sold since moving to California in late 2015, when he snapped up his first property in the area, a stunning Mediterranean-style villa in the Hollywood Hills.
Puth paid $1.9 million for his so-called bachelor pad, which he then sold at a loss less than three years later, offloading the dwelling for $1.8 million in May 2018.
At that point, he relocated to a much bigger—and more expensive—spread in Beverly Hills' highly sought-after Trousdale Estates neighborhood. That home, which was built by architect Rex Lotery in 1965, was snapped up for $9 million just a few months before he sold his original dwelling.
The chart-topper spent nearly a year trying to find a buyer for his Beverly Hills abode, initially listing it for $17 million in November 2023, before selling it to celebrity real estate agent Josh Flagg for just $11 million in October 2024.
