L.A. Megamansion With Special Stargazing Roof and Private Jazz Club Returns to the Market With a Huge $42 Million Price Chop

A spectacular megamansion in Los Angeles that was first listed for sale in February for the eye-watering asking price of $177 million has made a headline-grabbing return to the market after undergoing a drastic $42 million price chop.

Yet even after having more than a quarter of its price cut from the ask, the home has still rocketed to the top of the week's most expensive homes list, where its updated $135 million asking price is almost double the property in the No. 2 spot.

The 35,000-square-foot estate boasts over-the-top amenities, including a primary suite with retractable roof for stargazing, a hydrotherapy chamber, and a six-car "auto gallery" that doubles as a private jazz club.

Dubbed "Villa Siena," the awe-inspiring spec mansion is the brainchild of Ardie Tavangarian of Arya Group.

"Designed as a full-sensory experience," the "architectural gem" also features 30-foot glass walls, a four-story floating staircase above water and fire elements, a 22-seat cinema, a wellness center, two pools, and a rooftop terrace to soak in views of the city and the Bel-Air Country Club.
