Ivanka Trump Will Not Join President Trump for U.K. State Visit—Remaining at Home in Miami as Her Father Prepares To Meet King Charles
First daughter Ivanka Trump has doubled down on her vow to steer clear of politics by opting out of her father's state visit to the U.K., where the president will meet with several members of the British royal family, including King Charles.
Instead, Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, will be accompanied by the businessman's younger daughter, Tiffany, and her husband, Michael Boulos, both of whom were pictured boarding Air Force One on Sept. 16.
A White House spokesperson has confirmed that Tiffany is the only one of Trump's children who will be joining him on the trip. Trump's youngest son, Barron, is busy with his studies at NYU Washington, DC, while Don Jr. and Eric are manning the fort as the heads of their father's Trump Organization.
Ivanka, 43, was by her dad's side during his first official visit to the U.K. in 2019, when she was serving as a senior adviser in his first administration, alongside her husband, Jared Kushner.
When her father's first term came to an end in January 2021, Ivanka took a sizable step back from politics, relocating her family from Washington, DC, to Florida—where they now reside in a stunning custom-built megamansion on the celebrity-loved enclave of Indian Creek Island.

Ivanka has also thrown herself into a more Hollywood-centric lifestyle, swapping policies for parties and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Lauren Sanchez Bezos at many an A-list event.
Two days before her father boarded his flight to the U.K., the first daughter made a trip of her own—jetting to Atlantic City, NJ, where she attended a fundraiser for Reform, a nonprofit that "aims to transform probation and parole by changing laws, systems and culture to create real pathways to work and wellbeing."
Sharing images of herself at the event, Ivanka praised the work done by the organization, while also paying tribute to other high-profile supporters of the campaign, including New York Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Michael Rubin, Reform's co-founder, both of whom she was pictured with at the event.
Ivanka put on a dazzling display at the soiree—which she attended with Kushner—donning a crystal-embellished dress, while her husband looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.
The event marked the end of a busy summer for the former fashion entrepreneur. Ivanka has spent the past few months enjoying a number of exotic trips, including a Labor Day getaway in the Bahamas, where she and her family were hosted by Don Jr. and his new partner, Bettina Anderson.
Other trips enjoyed by the first daughter this summer included a brief vacation in Venice, Italy, where she and Kushner attended Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' wedding to Lauren Sanchez, as well as visits to Wyoming, London, New Jersey, and New York.
Indeed, it appears Ivanka has had little opportunity to enjoy the opulent surroundings at her home in Miami, where she and Kushner have built a beautiful $24 million mansion on a plot of land located just a stone's throw from Tom Brady's impressive home.
Ivanka and Kushner originally purchased the land on which their home now sits in April 2021—and quickly set about a drastic renovation of the six-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom compound that previously occupied the parcel. They took it down to the studs to create their dream sanctuary.
Images of the home reveal that it has now been transformed into one of the most enviable properties in the exclusive neighborhood, which is known as the "Billionaire Bunker" thanks to its residents' incredible wealth.

Work on the property went on for more than two years, with Ivanka hosting a birthday celebration there just weeks before the renovation was completed in November 2023.
Property records reveal that Ivanka and Kushner took out a $15 million mortgage to purchase the home, which comes with a private boat dock and staggering views of Biscayne Bay.
The couple purchased the home from billionaire Alex Meruelo and his wife, Liset Meruelo.
In its original listing, the property was described as a "magnificent, remodeled neoclassical masterpiece." However, Ivanka and Kushner's plans for the property have shed much of its neoclassical charm, making way for a modern and lavish look.
The exterior was given a coat of gleaming white paint, and edgy black trim replaced the wooden accents on the facade.
Glimpses of the interior, which Ivanka has shared on Instagram, reveal an equally modern transformation, with a more industrial vibe replacing the classic design elements.
However, some of the bones of the original structure remain, including the 26-foot-high ceilings, the open living areas, and the opulent double staircase.
The couple also retained the large water feature at the front of the property. In the lavish backyard, they ripped out and then reinstalled the swimming pool.
According to the plans that were released by Miami-Dade County, the couple installed a chef's kitchen next to the dining room and outfitted the primary suite with double closets and a beautiful spa bathroom.

The pool cabana out back was also given a total makeover, which saw a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool installed.
And that is not the only major development project that the couple has embarked on of late.
In June, it was revealed that Ivanka and Kushner are set to invest a staggering $1.4 billion into turning an abandoned Soviet weapons base in Albania into a luxury island resort.
The duo spent the past year working on plans to transform the Albanian island of Sazan—one of the last undeveloped islands in the Mediterranean—into a must-visit destination for the wealthy.
Ivanka and Kushner took a massive step toward their dream of creating the "extraordinary" retreat in January, when their plans received preliminary approval from the Albanian government, according to the New York Times.
That approval came just two months after Ivanka's father claimed victory over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and days before he was inaugurated for the second time.
The project is "one of several" involving members of the president's family and foreign government entities that Trump will be actively working with in the White House, according to the Times.
Both Kushner and a spokesperson for the Albanian government had previously shut down any suggestion that the project's evaluation process would be in any way influenced by its direct connection to Trump. Yet, that hasn't stopped questions from being raised over the approval.
"The fact that such a renowned American entrepreneur shows his interest on investing in Albania makes us very proud and happy," a representative of Albanian President Edi Rama told the Times in 2024.
Even before the couple had received approval for their plans, locals were abuzz with speculation about the project, with many now referring to the island as Ishulli i Trumpëve, or "Trump Island."
Both Ivanka and Kushner have close ties to the real estate industry through their respective families. Before Trump entered politics, he was best known for his career as a developer, while Kushner's family owns a vast portfolio of commercial, residential, and retail properties in New York.
