Is Chrishell Stause Leaving the Oppenheim Group? ‘Selling Sunset’ Alum Teases New Project With Ryan Serhant

"Selling Sunset" alum Chrishelle Stause has teased a reality TV comeback with "Owning Manhattan" star Ryan Serhant after the duo revealed they "filmed" together.

Serhant, 41, welcomed Stause, 44, back to the real estate TV drama after she revealed she was quitting "Selling Sunset" after nine seasons.

The duo took to TikTok to taunt fans with the news that they had collaborated on an upcoming project.

After exciting fans, they revealed that they would have to wait over a year to see the finished product.

"People finding out we just filmed something together," the TikTok video read as the duo danced.

"Finding out you have to wait till next year to see it," the overlay text read at the end of the clip.

The video was captioned, "Gotta wait until next year."

The video comes weeks after she revealed she was bidding adieu to "Selling Sunset" after nine seasons, admitting that her role on the hit Netflix show is "no longer good" for her "mental health."

The 44-year-old actress-turned-home-selling-pro revealed during an interview with Bustle that she has made the decision to step away from the reality drama, which she has been a regular on since its 2019 premiere, citing a desire to better protect her mental well-being.

She admitted that she has seriously considered exiting the Netflix project on multiple occasions in the past, but noted that the allure of a big payday always prevented her from cutting ties with the show once and for all.

“I’ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past," she said. "I have to be honest—having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down."

Now, however, Stause said she is able to prioritize her mental health above all else because "Selling Sunset" no longer serves as her primary source of income.

“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health," she said.

Although "Selling Sunset" has yet to be renewed for a 10th season, Stause emphasized that she wishes her castmates the best if they do move forward with another installment.

“If they do continue, I wish them the best. If they do do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show. The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved," she admitted.

The real estate agent also addressed her departure from the show on her Instagram, telling fans, "Although the season ended on a bit of a sour note, I will truly always be SO grateful to this show. It introduced me to you guys and l am deeply thankful for your support.

"There were lots of fun memories I am going to focus on from here on out and you will see me again so it's not goodbye. Just goodbye for now."

The news came after she hinted that she was leaving the series in an interview with Variety.

Stause said that she "liked this season" but she was "excited to move on from this chapter.”

“The reunion was so brutal. In that moment, I realized I will be done here going forward. I wish everyone the best, but this isn’t the place for me. It felt a little bit like a dog pile," she added.

Stause butted heads with many of the cast members this season, including Nicole Young, with whom she go into a heated argument with during a "Girlsgiving" dinner, after accusing Young of doing drugs.

The conversation heightened when Young brought up Stause's late parents, noting, “Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, OK? You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”

Stause and her former best friend, Emma Hernan, also experienced drifts in their friendship over Hernan's new beau, Blake Davis.

While speaking to Variety, Stause noted that many of her issues with Hernan's boyfriend weren't included on the show.

“When I met him, there were so many red flags that happened in one short meeting. Sometimes you meet someone and you may not like the way they dress, or they may rub you the wrong way because they’re a little awkward. I found real things to be dangerous with his personality,” Stause said.

During the reunion, several costars came to Hernan's defense and slammed Stause for being a bad friend when Hernan needed her.

Now, Stause is focusing on expanding her family with her partner, G Flip.

“Now that I’m done, and after the reunion airs and the chatter dies down, I might give it one more chance. It’s a process, and it’s expensive as well. And now I’m looking for a new job, so I need to be wise about this," she said.

Stause isn't the first "Selling Sunset" star Serhant has enlisted for filming. He previously revealed that he spent a day behind the cameras with Hernan.
