Gigi and Bella Hadid’s Mom Yolanda Lists Family’s Beloved Pennsylvania Farm for $11 Million—After Helping To Turn Local Area Into A-List Haven

Former model and reality star Yolanda Hadid has put her family's iconic Pennsylvania farm on the market for $10.88 million—after turning the rundown estate into a "sanctuary and safe haven" where her supermodel daughters, Gigi and Bella, were able to escape the spotlight.

Yolanda, 61, who earned her own slice of fame starring on the hit Bravo show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," while her then-teenage daughters were still relatively unknown, bought the idyllic 32-acre New Hope estate for $3.99 million in 2017, soon after her split from music mogul David Foster.

In a statement, the former model—who was born in Holland—said she stumbled across the home during a particularly difficult time in her life, having spent years struggling with grueling symptoms caused by her Lyme disease diagnosis, and knew instantly that it would provide the "sanctuary" she was seeking.

"Eight years ago, after my divorce and years of battling chronic neurological Lyme disease, I needed to get away from the noise of city life," she explained. "I longed for a sanctuary where I could heal and reconnect with Mother Earth just the way I grew up in Holland.

"When I found the farm, I instantly fell in love … there were no gates at that time so I parked on the main road and walked down the long driveway, the energy was unbelievable. I instantly knew I was home even before I saw the buildings."

As it turns out, the dwelling—which is listed with Carl Gambino of the Gambino Group at Compass and Revi Haviv of Addison Wolfe Real Estate—would also become a "safe haven" for her children, as they grappled with the increasing public scrutiny prompted by their dizzying rise to global superstardom.

She recalled Gigi, 30, who now owns her own home not far from the family farm, and Bella, 28, being able to escape to the property, where they could indulge their love of horseback riding away from the cameras—without ever traveling too far from New York City, where much of their work was based.

"Bella and Gigi riding their horses bareback around the farm and training in the jumping arena in such close proximity from New York and their very busy careers," she shared.

The property became what Yolanda describes as a "safe haven" for herself, her daughters, and their brother, Anwar, 26, all of whom were raised in Los Angeles.

"It truly is a slice of heaven, a sanctuary, and our safe haven," the mother of three shared about the property, which is now known as the Yolanda Hadid Family Farm.

The home's listing—which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal—emphasizes the feeling of safety and security that the family has enjoyed during the eight years that they have owned the property, noting that the equestrian estate also gave them a sanctuary where they were able to spend time together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"For the Hadid family, the farm became a safe haven: a place where barefoot planting in the mud during lockdown turned into lifelong memories, where music was recorded in the barn, and where horseback rides through lavender fields offered escape from the pressures of global careers," it states.

In the years since it was last put on the market, Yolanda has transformed the property in more ways than one, helping to restore its rolling fields of lavender, while overseeing a complete redesign of several of the structures that sit on its picturesque land.

"Restoring the farm has been a labor of love," she tells Realtor.com®.

At the heart of the estate is a three-bedroom stone farmhouse that was built in 1810 but has been extensively renovated with a "modern European" aesthetic.

The home's interiors were, according to information shared with Realtor.com, designed entirely by Yolanda and elegantly blend "historic character with bright, functional, and modern finishes."

In addition to its three bedrooms, the main residence also boasts several "gracious living and dining spaces" as well as five fireplaces that help to give it a "warm" feeling throughout.

As well as the main farmhouse, there are three additional residences on the property: a two-bedroom, one-bathroom abode known as Lavender Cottage; a one-bedroom, one-bathroom dwelling called Corn Crib Cottage; and the Carriage House, which also features one bedroom and one bathroom.

All three additional structures have their own full kitchen. The properties were renovated by Yolanda to provide each of her children with their own space whenever they were staying with her.

"Having three absolutely chic and gorgeous carriage houses on the estate is incredibly unique," Haviv noted. "The versatility of the structures lends itself to such a wide range of uses and they are conveniently finished with the utmost fashion."

Meanwhile a stone barn that was built in 1776 and was initially used as a "working agricultural structure" has been turned into an 8,000-square-foot "entertainment space and gym," while an additional flat barn has been completely rebuilt and now serves as a professional equestrian facility.

The external equestrian spaces have been, Yolanda reveals, a "favorite place" for Gigi and Bella to ride their horses.

Elsewhere on the picture-perfect land, visitors will find a resort-style pool, a restored spring house that has been converted into a "wine and lavender oil cellar for quiet evenings watching the sunset," a "meditation labyrinth," and bountiful vegetable gardens—in addition to several acres of lavender fields.

Many of those lavender plants were installed by Yolanda and her children during the pandemic lockdown, with the former Bravo star revealing on Instagram in May 2020 that they had finished adding more than 3,000 plants to the land, while sharing images of the process.

"This is a luxury turnkey farm property that offers everything one could ask for: private, picturesque country land, an incredible stone bank barn in perfect condition, three fashionable guest cottages, a charming historic stone farmhouse, lavender fields, equestrian ring and more," Haviv said of the property.

However, the expansive farm is not the only thing that the Hadid family has transformed during their time living in Bucks County.

Since their arrival in the area, New Hope has become a veritable celebrity hot spot, drawing a host of interest from A-list stars—while house prices in the community have soared.

According to Realtor.com data, the median listing price in New Hope has increased by 55% in the eight years since the Hadids bought their home, rising from $931,200 in May 2017 to $1.45 million in August of this year.

The current median listing price is more than double that of nearby Lambertville, NJ—which sits just across the Delaware River.

Celebrities including Tina Fey, Justin Bieber, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all been seen spending time in New Hope within the last year. Gigi's boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, a Pennsylvania native, snapped up his own property there for $6.5 million in 2023.

Gigi's former partner, One Direction sensation Zayn Malik, with whom she shares a 5-year-old daughter, Khai, also owns a home not far from the Hadid farm.

"New hope in Bucks County is a beautiful place that offers the perfect escape—within 90 minutes from New York City with the feel of a European countryside," Gambino told Realtor.com.

"New Yorkers and other near by city dwellers can enjoy open land, lavender fields, horse farms, historic charm, and a thriving luxury market, while staying close enough to the city for convenience."

Realtor.com senior economic research analyst Hannah Jones agrees, noting that New Hope has an abundance of appeal for homebuyers for multiple reasons.

"New Hope is idyllic, well-located and well-known, factors that help drive stronger demand and higher home prices compared to nearby towns," she explained.

"Homes in New Hope also tend to be much larger than those in Lambertville, contributing to the price gap. In August, the median listing price in New Hope was more than double that of Lambertville; however, the median price per square foot was only 19.7% higher, highlighting how home size plays a significant role in the difference."

Despite listing her farm, Yolanda remains tied to the local community, having already purchased a new property in Bucks County.

However, now that her children have all moved into homes of their own, the sprawling estate feels too large and she is ready to downsize.

The former reality star also owns homes elsewhere, including New York City and Texas, where she purchased a sprawling ranch outside of Fort Worth during her relationship with her former fiancé, Joey Jingoli, from whom she split earlier this year.

Much like her Pennsylvania home, the former model wasted no time in overhauling her sprawling ranch in the Lone Star State, before showing off the dwelling in a shoot for Architectural Digest in August 2024.

Yolanda told the outlet that she designed every element of the home herself, creating a modern cowboy ranch that features a wild spread of amenities, including a "honey bar" and a tornado room.

At the time, she gushed about her new community near Fort Worth, TX, saying that she quickly fell in love with the "mecca" of "cowboys and horses."

"I love the culture," she added. "The people are extraordinary."
