EXCLUSIVE: ‘Miami’s Most Sensual Home’—With $350K Spinning Bed and Crocodile Leather Walls—Is Listed for $5.2 Million

by Charlie Lankston

A Miami residence that has been hailed as the city's "most provocative, sensual" home has hit the market for $5.15 million—complete with a $350,000 custom-made rotating bed, crocodile leather walls, and facial recognition access.

The incredibly luxurious dwelling, which has been named "The Other Side," is located on the 30th floor of the Continuum South Beach, a high-end oceanfront development that offers residents all manner of lavish amenities.

However, there could be little inside the opulent apartment building to rival the features found in Apartment 30002, which was "meticulously crafted as an immersive, after-dark experience." The listing agent is Julian Johnson of the Corcoran Group.

That's not to say that the unit isn't plenty appealing during the day, when it is flooded with sunlight streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which also offer jaw-dropping views of the Biscayne Bay.

At night, however, is when the two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom abode really comes to life, courtesy of the custom multicolor backlighting that was "designed to command" the primary suite—creating a romantic environment that has what the property's description hailed as "'Fifty Shades of Grey' energy."

While the property offers many unique touches throughout, including an engraved wall in the main living space, a huge private balcony, and a dramatic chandelier above the dining table, it is the primary bedroom that is the star of the show.

Designed to feel both intimate and spacious, the bedroom features a wall that is made up of pocket doors, which open to the living room—or can be closed off from the outside world.

Motorized shades block out the bright light of the Miami sun, shutting out the hustle and bustle of city life.

"At its center, a $350,000 custom rotating European bed, wrapped in crocodile leather and illuminated with multi-color backlighting designed to command the room, not blend into it," the description reveals.

The primary bathroom offers just as much luxury, with a large marble Jacuzzi at its center, as well as dual sinks. Meanwhile, the second bathroom boasts a spacious walk-in shower.

In the main living space, residents can enjoy a sweeping view of Miami or kick back at the custom onyx bar, which is lit from within to give it an ethereal glow at all hours of the day.

"Surrounding it are backlit glass walls, crocodile leather wall treatments, a glowing onyx bar, and a marble jacuzzi with waterfall feature, creating a mood that’s equal parts luxury, power, and indulgence," the description continues.

The drama begins the moment you set foot inside the imposing double doors of the unit's entryway, where a bright blue carpet and cowhide fur walls greet guests, along with a light-up sign of the property's name.

The luxurious home also boasts smart technology, including an integrated sound system that cost more than $350,000 to install, as well as Savant home automation with facial recognition access.

"'The Other Side' is a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of luxury real estate, design, technology, and sensual storytelling in one of the world’s most exclusive addresses," the description continues.

According to records, the property was originally listed for the much higher price of $5.6 million in July 2025. Previously, it last changed hands in 2010 for $1.6 million.

Outside of the unit, which spans close to 1,800 square feet, residents can enjoy access to a wide variety of amenities offered by the Continuum South Beach.

These include "12 expansive acres of manicured grounds, a four-story gym and spa, three tennis courts, two lagoon-style pools, one open-air restaurant and much more," according to the Continuum website.

"Situated on the southernmost 1,000 feet of Miami Beach’s waterfront, and bordering South Pointe Park, the Continuum South Beach offers the tranquility of oceanfront living in close proximity to world class dining and nightlife," the property's description continues.
