Controversial comedian and Netflix star Chris D’Elia has listed his four-bedroom Los Angeles home for $3,750,000—four years after his career went down in flames when he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

D’Elia, 44, found himself at the center of a furious scandal in summer 2020, when multiple women came forward with claims that he had sent them graphic messages asking for sex, while others alleged that he had groomed them when they were underage.

The accusations were made public just six months after the stand-up comedian shot to global fame while starring alongside Penn Badgley in the second season of the hit psychological thriller “You.”

D’Elia, who has denied all accusations, faced further scandal in 2023, when more than 10 women aired new allegations against him, including claims that he pressured them to perform sexual acts, according to Rolling Stone.

Since the allegations were first brought to light, D’Elia has seen his career suffer, with several venues canceling stand-up shows in response to the claims. D’Elia was even digitally replaced in one movie project, “Army of the Dead.”

The house was built in 2013.

Now, the comedian has made the decision to offload his picturesque 3,825-square-foot, four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home.

The traditional-style home is located in the Hollywood Hills, not far from the Sunset Strip. It offers an open floor plan with the new addition of a den that could be used as an extra bedroom. One room is currently configured as a podcast studio with wood paneling on the wall, bright lights for filming, and a couple of desks.

Its large living room has a fireplace, picture molding, and French doors to the outside. Kitchen amenities include Viking appliances and a large center island, along with a spot for quick dining in the morning. A more formal space can accommodate 12 diners.

The main bedroom is quite luxe, with a fireplace, access to the patio, as well as a bathroom with double sinks, a huge shower, and a deep tub.

There’s also a family room on the upper level with glass doors that lead to the small yard, a solar-heated pool with spa, and a fire pit.

There’s a deep soaker and double sinks in the primary bath.

“The elevation of the home paired with the mature landscape achieves an extremely private and expansive backyard perfect for entertaining, swimming, fireside al fresco dining, and enjoying the best of the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that California has to offer,” the Realtor.com® listing states.

Prior to the allegations against him, D’Elia appeared in a number of TV series, including “Undateable” and “Whitney.” He then played the role of Henderson in the hit Netflix series “You,” which aired in December 2019.

He’s still on tour with his stand-up act and hosts the weekly podcast “Congratulations.”
