“The Great Lou Dobbs has just passed away—A friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “He understood the World, and what was ‘happening,’ better than others. Lou was unique in so many ways, and loved our Country. Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debi, and family. He will be greatly missed!”
Dobbs, a former CNN and Fox Business Network host, leaves behind a real estate legacy. In April, his longtime home in West Palm Beach, FL, went on the market for $3.1 million.
The price was reduced to $2.9 million just two days ago. The mansion was previously sold in 2005 for $2 million.

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bath mansion has more than 5,100 square feet of living space. It is located in the Eagle Isle community.
The mansion offers “Florida living with outstanding backyard water and award winning Jack Nicklaus-designed Legend Course views,” the listing notes.
The interiors include custom double doors, a coffered ceiling, crown molding, columns, and a stone fireplace. The office has wood-paneled walls, and the kitchen offers granite countertops, two dishwashers, two sinks, and a butler’s pantry.
The living area includes a bar and a billiard table. All three bedrooms are en suite, including the primary, which has a sitting area and dual baths and walk-in closets.
The grounds are lush and lavish, with a negative-edge rock waterfall and spa. A covered and screened patio comes with a built-in grill and space for dining and lounging. The property has a circular driveway that leads to a three-car garage.
Dobbs began working at CNN when the network launched and hosted the show “Lou Dobbs Tonight.” He later moved to the Fox Business Network. From 2021 until his death, he hosted “The Great America Show” on iHeartRadio.
He won a Peabody award for his coverage of the 1987 stock market crash and an Emmy for his lifetime achievement. In his later years, Dobbs embraced false claims around the 2020 election.
