Christina and Josh Hall Are Divorcing—and Fans Saw It Coming

Christina Hall and Josh Hall are divorcing after nearly three years of marriage.

Josh filed divorce papers on July 8 in California’s Orange County, citing “irreconcilable differences,” according to TMZ. Sources also say Christina filed for divorce on Monday.

This will be Christina’s third divorce. Her first marriage was to “Flip or Flop” co-star Tarek El Moussa, which culminated in divorce in 2018. She married TV host Ant Anstead that same year, but they divorced in 2021.

Then Christina began dating Josh, a real estate agent, in 2021, and they tied the knot in 2022.

Did fans see Christina Hall’s third divorce coming?

Christina fans might not be all that surprised by this latest news: Speculation about their relationship troubles had been bubbling up online for at least a week.

On Christina’s birthday, July 9, many noted that Josh hadn’t posted any well wishes to his wife on social media. Others have noted that the HGTV stars now have solo profile photos on their Instagram accounts.

A Reddit thread offered other telltale details: “She took his name out of her bio on Instagram. He doesn’t have hers either but not sure if he did before. … I feel like Christina also maybe deleted some photos of them but not all. She’s been hanging out with her friend Kristin a lot these past few days. No bday post from Josh either. Is divorce #3 in the works??”

“It’s crazy that HGTV has been her longest relationship,” added a commentator.

What happens to her shows?

Christina and Josh did not have children together, and according to TMZ, there appears to be no prenup. However, Josh has reportedly asked the court for all rights to any HGTV/Discovery Network shows produced while they were hitched.

This complicates matters because, amid the real-life drama surrounding the couple, the first episode of the new season of “Christina on the Coast” recently aired. Christina is shown heading home to renovate her parents’ house, and Josh appears briefly in the episode.

The couple were also set to star in an upcoming series in 2025 pitting them against Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa. On “The Flip Off,” Christina and Josh were slated to compete against her ex-spouse and his new wife to see who could rake in bigger profits while renovating a house.

All of this begs some questions: Depending on how much of the show has been filmed, will Christina compete solo or bring along dates—and maybe find a new husband?
