Cardi B Reveals She and NFL Star Boyfriend Stefon Diggs Are Expecting Their First Child—So Where Will They Raise Their Family?
Rapper Cardi B has revealed she is expecting her fourth child and her first baby with NFL star boyfriend Stefon Diggs—four months after the couple made their relationship Instagram official.
The 32-year-old "I Like It" hitmaker shared the news of her family expansion on "CBS Mornings" during an interview with Gayle King.
"I'm having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs," Cardi told King in the interview that aired Sept. 17.
The songstress noted that she was "excited" to start a family with the New England Patriots wide receiver, 31, adding that she is "happy" and in a "good space."
"I feel very strong, very powerful that I'm doing all this work—but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby," she said.
The rapper—who shares children Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, with ex-husband Offset—went on to let fans in on the best parts of her relationship.

"Me and my man, we're very supportive of each other. We're like in the same space in our careers. I feel like we're really great and one of the best at what we do.
"And me and him think the same way. 'Yeah, you're one of the greatest, but what's next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.' We're never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going it and that's just what we are," she explained.
The news that the couple is expecting their first child together comes just months after they made their relationship official on social media with a series of swoon-worthy photos.
They confirmed their romance with a loved-up Instagram photo taken on a yacht in Miami—just days after the NFL pro found himself in hot water over a controversial video of him partying on a boat.
Diggs was drawn into the center of a scandal when a clip of him holding a bag of an unidentified pink substance while chatting with a trio of women emerged online, according to the New York Post.
At the time, Cardi B, who was previosuly in the midst of a divorce from former spouse Offset seemingly confirmed that she was on the same boat as the football star by sharing an image of the two of them cuddling on a near-identical vessel, with Diggs wearing the same shorts and silk scarf he was sporting in the video.
Though neither have commented on the clip, or the nature of the substance in Diggs' hand, the video was brought into question during a May 27 press conference with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, who was asked if the team was aware of it—and if any action would be taken.

"Well, it's something that we're aware of. Obviously, we want to make great decisions on and off the field. We're hoping that, with our time here on the field today, that when we don't have a script and we're on the call periods, that we're making great decisions," Vrabel said.
"The message will be the same for all our players, that we're trying to make great decisions. Any conversations that I've had with Stefon will remain between him, I and the club."
However, Diggs and Cardi B do not appear to have been fazed by the clip—confirming their rumored romance with an image that looks to have been snapped on the very same boat.
Cardi also shared a video of the two of them in a hot tub in which Diggs is seen slapping his girlfriend's behind.
The posts are understood to have been taken during the couple's Memorial Day celebrations and were shared just six weeks before the Patriots are due to begin their preseason training camp, although it's unclear whether Diggs will be present.
Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the Patriots in March 2025.
He previously played for the Houston Texans, which he was traded to in 2024 after playing with the Buffalo Bills.
At the time, Diggs was rehabbing from a torn ACL, which he suffered last season while with the Houston Texans.
"The timelines, and the prognosis, we’re working hard to get him back and be ready to go. When he’s here, we’ll coach him and have him ready to go," Vrabel previously told reporters.

In the wake of the controversy over the yacht video, Diggs sought refuge in his Maryland property, which he purchased two years ago and worked extremely hard to transform into a sanctuary.
While speaking to Mr. Porter in 2024—one year after he moved into the abode—he confessed that he poured his heart and soul into making his property his dream home.
Diggs told the outlet that he wanted to give each of his rooms a "unique identity" for his various moods, including his quiet study and his "creative" room, which is adorned in colorful art.
The star athlete confessed that he spent several hours on YouTube searching for how to place his furniture. He also revealed that he spent lots of time speaking with interior designers, who helped him turn his dreams into a reality.
Besides working with a pro to acquire vintage furniture, Diggs has perfected every other part of the home by himself, including collecting art.
Although he created his dream abode, Diggs admitted that he made one person mad in the process when he forked over $30,000 on one couch—his financial advisor.
“My [financial advisor] really gets on my a**, but I’m like, listen, I need this. And I won’t rest until my house is exactly how I want it," he noted.
Although Diggs keeps his creative design work on his abode private, he does often share some Instagram snaps from his property.

It comes as no surprise that Diggs wanted to pour his heart—and lots of cash—into his Maryland abode as he hails from Maryland.
Diggs previously held the keys to a Houston property, which he adored because it helped him get a taste of "southern hospitality."
The attention from the shocking clips comes just weeks after Diggs and Cardi B first debuted their romance when they stepped out holding hands.
Their romance comes amid the rapper's ongoing divorce battle from her former husband, Offset, with whom she shares three children.
It's unclear whether Diggs' Maryland home will become him and Cardi's family home as the rapper also boasts an impressive real estate portfolio herself.
The A-lister holds the keys to a property in New York, which was a long-term dream for her and Offset, a 22,000-square-foot property in Atlanta, which was gifted to her by her ex in 2020, and a dwelling in Los Angeles.
