‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Jordan Ngatikaura Files for Divorce From Jessi Draper—Months After Listing Their Marital Home

by Kelsi Karruli

"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" stars Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura are officially divorcing—bringing an end to their five-year marriage, mere months after they put their marital home on the market.

Divorce rumors have been dogging Jessi, 33, and Jordan, 32, who wed in 2020, for months, heightening in November 2025 when the couple listed their sprawling Utah home.

Now, those rumors have been confirmed after Jordan officially filed for divorce from his spouse—with TMZ first reporting the news.

Jessi and Jordan share son, Jagger, 5, and daughter, Jovi, 3. Jordan is also a dad to Peyton, his daughter from a prior relationship.

Soon after the news was revealed, Jordan issued a statement about the split, insisting that he and Jessi are committed to co-parenting their children as amicably as possible, while noting that the decision to divorce was made with "a heavy heart."

"This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart," he said.

"I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.

"I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect."

At the end of the statement, he asked fans for privacy as their family grapples with the separation.

The news of their divorce comes months after Jessi claimed that she had been suffering from "emotional abuse" in her marriage, noting that she and her spouse had agreed to a 90-day separation.

At the time, her partner acknowledged that he had caused his wife "pain," telling People in a November statement: "I take full accountability for the pain I caused Jessi during our marriage."

That same month, the couple listed their marital home in Pleasant Grove, UT, for $2.5 million.

They were hoping to seek out a "fresh start" in a new dwelling, they explained to Realtor.com® at the time.

Throughout most of their time in the 1970s-built residence, which they extensively remodeled before putting it on the market, the couple encountered major relationship challenges, most of which relate to Jessi’s appearance on another reality TV show.

Following her August 2024 visit with Bravo’s “Vanderpump Villa” cast in Italy, the #MomTok influencer and owner of JZ Styles hair salon faced accusations of cheating on Jordan with fellow reality TV personality Marciano Brunette. Jessi later admitted to having had an "emotional affair" with Marciano.

“Marriage is hard; people make mistakes—it’s how we grow from them,” she admitted to Realtor.com in November.

However, it seemed that the couple were still hoping to move forward together, revealing that they had found a new home where they believed they would be able to start a new chapter in their marriage.

“We found our dream home that is perfect for us and are looking for a fresh start,” said Jessi, to which Jordan added, “We can’t wait.”

To help facilitate the big move, Jessi and Jordan enlisted the help of yet another familiar face from the reality TV universe.

Kenny Sperry, who starred on Bravo’s “Sold on SLC,” is the listing agent for the property. The Presidio Real Estate agent also happens to be currently coaching “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Dakota Mortensen in the business of real estate in addition to his job at the Salt Lake City–based brokerage.

“Kenny is Dakota’s real estate mentor, and we are big fans of ‘Sold on SLC,’” admitted Jessi. “Us Utah reality stars have to stick together!”

What started as a connection over their shared reality TV experiences in the Mormon mecca has since blossomed into a strategic business collaboration.

“Utah really is such a small world,” Kenny explained. “Jessi, Jordan, and I entered the reality TV phase at a similar time. Being in a similar situation, we started messaging on Instagram and the relationship grew from there.”

The luxury real estate expert says his time on TV gave him the competitive edge to land the $2.5 million listing and will help him navigate the transaction with nuance.

“Combined with the depth of knowledge and solid reputation from a real estate perspective, my background in reality TV helps as I understand the potential obstacles that may arise with the production of ‘Secret Lives,’" he said.

“With the success that Jessi and Jordan have had, it makes sense that they would look to bring on the best of the best to handle such a big transaction.”

The expansive estate, which sits on a lot that is just over half an acre, is located about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City.

“Situated at the base of Mount Timpanogos with views overlooking Utah Lake and some of the fastest-growing areas in Utah,” Kenny notes, it is “minutes away from Sundance Ski Resort.”

It's unclear who will claim the property in the divorce—or whether the former couple will choose to sell.
