‘Cabaret’ Star Michael Feinstein Lists California Home for $4.49 Million—Just 1 Year After Buying It
"Cabaret" icon Michael Feinstein and his husband, Terrence Flannery, have put their West Hollywood Hills dwelling on the market for $4.49 million—just one year after buying it.
Feinstein, 69, and Flannery first purchased the home, which was built in 1936, last year for $2.72 million and they are now ready to part ways with it, as first reported by the New York Post.
The property has gone through extensive renovations and boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and sprawls across 3,623 square feet.
The A-lister couple told the outlet that they had spent the last year hosting a slew of famous faces in the house and using the place as a green room and studio space for recording.
However, they are ready to bid farewell to the abode in hopes of finding something bigger.





“We love the house, its spectacular views and made it a home people cherish. We renovated every square foot of it and are using it more than we expected.
“We find ourselves needing more space as our circle of friends and family continue to spend more time with us. We also are spending more time on the West Side because of our production and business projects,” Feinstein said.
Sources revealed to the outlet that the couple is currently shopping around for a new house in Beverly Hills, which is where Feinstein spent several years working.
The four-bedroom dwelling is situated on 0.12 acres, right above Sunset Boulevard, offering panoramic city views.
The multistory home is surrounded in lush greenery and boasts an elegant white-and-beige facade.
Upon entering the property, guests are greeted with a large foyer complete with dark hardwood floors.
The expansive living area comes complete high ceilings and a cozy fireplace with a dark mantle.
Adjacent to the living area is the dining room, which features enough space for a large table, modern overhead lighting, and a large window that floods the space with natural light.





Moving into the kitchen, there are state-of-the-art appliances with marble countertops and a matching backsplash.
The main bedroom follows the same dark-wood theme and boasts a large window and its very own fireplace, perfect for cozying up next to on California's chilly nights. There is also a large walk-in closet, where owners can enjoy getting Hollywood glam.
The primary bathroom features a double vanity with a soaking tub.
The other two bedrooms are a stark contrast to the main bedroom as they boast a lighter appearance and are significantly smaller.
The property also has its very own black-and-white marble bar, making it the perfect place to entertain guests.




The office area comes complete with two orange chairs with Hermes pillows, a fireplace, and a corner desk for guests to get their work done.
The basement level has a gym and a laundry room.
